FasCard WDF ProLink Machine Start Integration
The CCI (FasCard WDF ProLink) machine start integration streamlines machine starts for drop-off orders and provides detailed tracking for better accountability. It enhances efficiency by preventing unauthorized machine use, ensuring accurate pricing, and making auditing easier through real-time machine start reports.
Please note that if you have already set up FasCard POS payment integration in WDF POS as detailed in this article, you may skip Parts 2 & 3 of this guide. The credentials in Part 3 will already be filled in for you.
Part 1: Enable WDF ProLink
Log in to FasCard's admin site. Click the WDF ProLink tab. Make sure the Enable WDF ProLink checkbox is selected and then click Save.

Part 2: Find Location ID in FasCard
While still in the FasCard admin site, click the System tab. Find the Location ID in the ID column of the store where your POS computer is installed. Write down the Location ID for later reference.

Part 3: Create an API User Account in FasCard
Click the Users tab. Scroll to the bottom of the list of users and click the Add New API User button.

Select the Location for this integration. No other special configuration is needed. Click the Save (and generate password) button.

A password will be automatically generated. Write down the API User's email address and generated password for later reference. Do not navigate away from this screen until you have done so.

Part 4: Enter Credentials into Wash-Dry-Fold POS
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of any page in Wash-Dry-Fold POS. Select Manage Equipment from the options that appear.

Click the Machine Start Integration tab and select CCI (FasCard WDF ProLink) from the dropdown list of integration partners.

Enter the API Credentials you gathered in Parts 1 & 2. Click the green Save button.

Part 5: Match Machines from FasCard to Machines in Wash-Dry-Fold POS
Stay on the Machine Start Integration tab. Select the correct WDF POS machine in the Assign to dropdowns for each FasCard machine.

Use Order Tracker to Start Machines for Laundry Orders
Machine starts on the Order Tracker will initiate a 60-second countdown on the FasCard readers of the chosen machines. Tap the reader's screen on each washer or dryer to confirm the machine starts.
If the reader's screen is not tapped within 60 seconds, the machine start will be removed from the order in WDF POS.

If you have selected an alternate color for the order on the Order Tracker, the FasCard reader will display that color while the washer or dryer is running.
