Enable On-Demand Delivery Services
This article is Part 2 of our 3-part series on setting up the MyLaundryOrder.com online scheduling tool for pickup & delivery. In this step-by-step guide, you'll learn how to enable integration with on-demand delivery services like Uber and DoorDash using our partner Burq.
Step 1: Enable On-Demand Delivery in Store Settings
- Go to your Store Settings page in WDF POS.
- Navigate to the Delivery tab.
- Make sure the box for "Display On-Demand Choices" is checked.
- Click Save.
If you don’t see this interface, make sure you’ve already enabled pickup & delivery via our Part 1 Setup Guide here: https://support.washdryfoldpos.com/article/270-activating-online-delivery-scheduling-for-your-customers
Step 2: Sign Up with Burq (Our On-Demand Delivery Partner)
After you activate delivery services, you’ll receive an email titled “Sign up for Third-Party On-Demand Delivery Options (like DoorDash) here.”
This email explains that:
- We use Burq as our on-demand delivery partner.
- Burq connects you to over 35 delivery providers (like Uber, DoorDash, and more) through a single account.
- Burq has negotiated discounted pricing with these providers.
- As new services become available in your area, Burq automatically updates your access.
How Payments Work:
- When a customer schedules an on-demand pickup through MyLaundryOrder.com, you collect payment first.
- Afterward, Burq charges your business credit card on file for the delivery cost.
- This ensures you receive payment from the customer before incurring costs.
Create Your Burq Account:
- Click the link in the email to sign up with Burq.
- Enter a business credit card and create a Burq dashboard password.
- Save your login credentials—you’ll need them to access your Burq dashboard later.
Step 3: Configure Burq Notifications and Payment Settings
Once your account is created:
Log into your Burq Dashboard.
Click the top right icon > Settings.
Update or add payment methods.
Click the Notifications tab and set alerts for:
- Failed payments
- Card expiration
- Delivery cancellations or rerouting events

These notifications help ensure you’re always informed of any delivery issues or payment problems.
