Activating Online Delivery Scheduling for Your Customers

Wash-Dry-Fold POS makes it easy to let customers schedule their own pickup and delivery orders online! This is part 1 of our 3 part series.

Step 1: Enabvle Pickup & Delivery in Store Settings

  1. Click the gear icon in the top right of WDF POS and go to Store Settings.
  2. Navigate to the Delivery tab.
  3. Check the box labeled Enable Pickup and Delivery Service.

Once enabled, a Delivery page will become available in your POS sidebar. This is where your team will manage pickup & delivery orders, create routes, and define available time slots.

Under the new MyLaundryOrder.com section:

  • Add your delivery email address and a valid phone number.
  • Click Submit to activate your store’s MLO account and generate your unique scheduling link.

Step 2: Create a Route and Add Zip Codes

Whether you're using scheduled route-based delivery or on-demand delivery (Uber, DoorDash, etc.), you need to add at least one route with zip codes to filter incoming requests.

To do this:

  1. Go to the Delivery tab in Store Settings
  2. Look for the "Zip code search" or manual zip code entry section.
  3. Click Zip code search to define a radius (e.g., 7 miles) around your main service zip code.
  4. Select the zip codes you'd like to include and click Done.

This ensures only customers within your service area can submit pickup requests.

You will be shown this interface when clicking "ZIP Code Search"

Step 3: Add the Link to Your Website

You’ll now see your store’s unique MyLaundryOrder link. To share it:

  • Copy the sample HTML code snippet provided in the MLO section.
  • Paste it into your website (or give it to your web designer).

If using WordPress:

Switch to the Text/HTML editor in your page builder, paste the HTML code, and save the changes.

Once live, customers can:

  • Click the link from your website
  • Enter their zip code
  • Create an account
  • Schedule pickup and delivery orders with your laundromat

If the customer enters a zip code outside your service area, they’ll see a message stating that pickup & delivery isn’t available in their location.
