Checklists in Wash-Dry-Fold POS
The Checklist feature in Wash-Dry-Fold POS helps you keep your team accountable for daily and monthly tasks, even when you are not physically at the store. It allows attendants to check off assigned duties, records who completed each task and when, and gives managers visibility into task completion both in store and remotely.
What Checklists Are Used For
Checklists are designed to track everything attendants need to do throughout the day outside of processing orders. This can include opening duties, closing tasks, cleaning routines, and monthly maintenance items.
Accessing Checklists
You can access Checklists in two ways:
- Click the blue Checklist button on the Dashboard
- Open the menu in the top left corner and select Checklists
Employees will be prompted to enter their PIN so the system knows who is completing each task.
Daily and Monthly Checklists
Wash-Dry-Fold POS includes multiple checklists:
- Daily checklists that reset each day
- A monthly maintenance checklist that persists throughout the month
You can use the left and right arrows to review past days and see which employee completed each task and when.
Completing a Checklist
At the start of a shift, the attendant clicks “Begin Checklist” to initialize it. As tasks are completed, they can be checked off one by one. Each task records:
- The employee who completed it
- The time it was completed
There is also a comments section at the bottom of each checklist where staff can leave notes for managers or other team members.

Editing Checklist Tasks
Admins and managers can edit checklist tasks by clicking “Edit Checklist.”
- Changes only apply to new checklists going forward
- Active checklists are not affected
You can:
- Add new tasks
- Drag and reorder tasks
- Move tasks between columns
- Delete tasks as needed
- Duplicate checklists

Monitoring Progress Remotely
Managers and owners can view checklist progress remotely from a smartphone or tablet. This makes it easy to confirm tasks are being completed and review any notes left by staff, without needing to be on site.
Why Use Checklists
The Checklist feature helps:
- Improve accountability
- Reduce missed tasks
- Track who completed what and when
- Give owners peace of mind when they are away from the store
