Setting Up Multiple Email Recipients for Delivery Notifications

By default, Wash-Dry-Fold POS allows you to enter a single email address for delivery notifications. If you’d like to notify multiple people (for example, managers, attendants, and drivers), you’ll need to set up an email forwarder through your email service provider.


What is an Email Forwarder?

An email forwarder is a special email address that automatically sends incoming messages to other addresses. For example, you might create delivery@yourlaundromat.com and configure it to forward messages to:

  • manager@yourlaundromat.com
  • driver@yourlaundromat.com
  • owner@yourlaundromat.com

This way, everyone gets delivery notifications without having to enter multiple addresses in the POS system.


How to Set It Up

  1. Log into your email service provider’s admin panel
  2. Create a new forwarding address (such as delivery@yourlaundromat.com).
  3. Add the individual email addresses you want it to forward to.
  4. Test it by sending a message to the new forwarding address and confirm everyone receives it.
  5. Use the forwarding address for your pickup and delivery setup.
