Laundroworks WashLynx Machine Start Integration
Once WashLynx has been integrated into Wash-Dry-Fold POS, attendants can use the WashLynx app on their mobile devices to select a laundry order from a list synchronized with Wash-Dry-Fold POS and initiate machine starts for that order with their mobile device. The machine start information will automatically update within Wash-Dry-Fold POS.
Part 1: Contact Laundroworks
Contact Laundroworks to enable WashLynx for your store. Specify with Laundroworks support that your POS Provider is Wash-Dry-Fold POS.
Part 2: Gather Credentials from LaundroPortal
On the Laundroworks administrative website, click on your store’s Location.
In the Management Tools sidebar on the right, click Mobile App Configurations.
On the Location Configuration tab, scroll down to the Wash Dry Fold Provider Configurations section and click the triangle next to API Credentials to view.
Part 3: Enter Credentials into Wash-Dry-Fold POS
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of any page in Wash-Dry-Fold POS. Select Manage Equipment from the options that appear.
Click the Machine Start Integration tab and select Laundroworks (WashLynx) from the dropdown list of integration partners.
Enter the API Credentials you gathered in Part 1. Click the green Save button.
Part 4: Match Machines from Laundroworks to Machines in Wash-Dry-Fold POS
Stay on the Machine Start Integration tab. Select the correct WDF POS machine in the Assign to dropdowns for each Laundroworks machine.
Part 5: Set Up WashLynx App
Download and install the WashLynx app on your phone through the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Follow the on-screen instructions to bind the app account to your location.
Write down the WashLynx app account number on the home screen for later use.
On LaundroPortal, navigate back to the Mobile App Configurations page and click the Location Accounts tab. The WashLynx app account number should now appear in the Account Listing section.
Click the account number to view details, then click the WashLynx tab to edit permissions for this WashLynx app account. Click the blue Save button at the bottom of the page when you are done.
Part 6 (optional): Assign WashLynx App Accounts to Employees in Wash-Dry-Fold POS
Click the gear icon in the top right corner of Wash-Dry-Fold POS. Select Manage Employees from the options that appear.
Click the blue pencil icon to edit an employee. Under the Machine Start Integrations section, first select a valid store from the WashLynx Enabled Store dropdown, then select the WashLynx app account number from the WashLynx App Account Number dropdown.
To remove the WashLynx assignment, click the red trash can icon.
If production credit is assigned in WDF POS on the Order Tracker, the employee will receive a push notification on the WashLynx app.
Use WashLynx to Start Machines for Laundry Orders
Tap the "Wash Dry Fold" icon in the lower right corner of the WashLynx app.
Select the laundry order from the list of open orders synced with Wash-Dry-Fold POS.
Tap the Start Machine for this order button and follow the on-screen steps to start the machine.
WashLynx will sync machine start info with Wash-Dry-Fold POS. The start will be attributed to the assigned employee (as detailed in Part 6). If the WashLynx account was not assigned, the start will be attributed to the person who handled the order last on the Order Tracker.
