Loyalty Card Add Value and Balance Features
Wash Dry Fold POS includes tools that allow stores to add value to loyalty cards, check card balances, and issue refunds back onto loyalty cards.
- Contact your card system provider for credentials. Wash-Dry-Fold POS does not provide credentials.
- Copy and paste the required credentials into the appropriate Wash-Dry-Fold POS fields.
- Click Save when finished.
Supported Systems
- FasCard, LaundryCard: Only accesses actual cash balances (bonus values are not included).
- ESD: Only ESD systems that connect through MyLaundryLink are supported at this time
- Laundroworks: Requires a separate NFC card reader provided by Laundroworks.
- SpyderWash: This integration is for payment only. Users cannot currently issue refunds or load balances onto SpyderWash cards.

Enabling Loyalty Card Features

Go to Store Settings by clicking the gear icon in the top right.
Select the Payment Integration tab
Make sure your card system is selected and credentials are entered.
Enable the following options as needed:
- Enable Loyalty Card Add Value button on Register
- Allow refunds onto loyalty cards
- Click Save.
Once enabled, these features will appear on the Register screen.
Using Loyalty Card Add Value on the Register
- Go to Register and log in as usual.
- Select Loyalty Card Add Value.
- Enter the dollar amount to add to the card.
- Enter a reason or memo if desired. This memo will appear on reports.
- Enter the card number by swiping, scanning, or typing it in.
- Submit the transaction and confirm success.
This action adds value directly to the card and records the transaction for reporting.
Checking a Loyalty Card Balance
- On the Register screen, select Loyalty Card Balance.
- Enter or scan the card number.
- View the current balance and card details.
If supported by your card system, you may also register the card to a customer by entering their name and phone number. This helps link cards to customers for easier tracking.
Refunding Money Back to a Loyalty Card
If enabled in Store Settings, refunds can be issued directly onto loyalty cards.
- Start a refund as you normally would.
- Enter the refund amount and a reason.
- On the payment screen, select Loyalty Card.
- Enter the card number.
The refunded amount will be placed back onto the loyalty card and recorded on both the Refund Report and Loyalty Card Add Value report.
Adding Value Through a Sales Transaction
Some stores prefer to only add value after collecting payment. This can be done using an inventory item.
Creating a Loyalty Card Recharge Item
- Go to Inventory.
- Create a new item such as “Loyalty Card Recharge”.
- Enable Loyalty Card Add Value for the item.
- Set the item as a retail item.
- Set the price to zero and enable prompt price.
- Save the item.
Using the Item on the Register
- Start a New Sale.
- Select the loyalty card recharge item.
- Enter the amount to load onto the card.
- Add any additional items if needed such as charging for the physical card.
- Collect payment as usual.
- Enter or scan the card number to load the value.
Only the entered add value amount is applied to the card, even if the total sale amount is higher.
Reporting and Accountability
The following reports include loyalty card activity:

Loyalty Card Add Value and Refund Report
Shows employee name, date, amount, reason, and whether the transaction was an add value or refund.

Financial Summary Report
Add value and refunds affect total liability while showing actual cash or card payments collected.

Refund Report
Indicates when refunds were issued back to loyalty cards.
These reports provide full visibility and accountability for loyalty card transactions.
