Adding a New Employee

  1. Click the green "Add New" button above the Current Employees list.
  2. Enter the employee’s details in the Add or Edit Employee popup.
  3. The following fields are required before saving:
  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • PIN
  • Role

Once all required fields are completed, the gray "Save" button will turn green. Click it to save the new employee.

Employee Roles & Permissions

Wash-Dry-Fold POS provides seven different roles, each with specific access levels:

Admin

  • Can add/edit employees of any role.
  • Can access all areas of the software from any device.

Manager

  • Can add/edit employees except for other managers and admins.
  • Can access all areas of the software but only view reports for stores listed in their profile.

Driver

  • Can access Dashboard, Delivery, and their Profile page only.
  • Can select store location and clock in/out from their device.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages such as Reports.

Attendant

  • Can only access assigned stores.
  • Can view their Profile page but only access the POS using their PIN.
  • Cannot access Reports or other password-protected areas.

Attendant (Limited Access)

  • Has the same permissions as an Attendant, but the following register functions are disabled:
  • Refund
  • Add Cash to Drawer
  • Cash Payout
  • Void
  • Delete Item
  • Discount %
  • Adjust Quantity
  • Adjust Price
  • Cannot enable/disable a customer’s On Account status.

Technician

  • Same restrictions as Attendant (Limited Access).
  • Can view Repairs, Equipment Setup, and their Profile page.
  • Can clock in/out from their own device.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages, can access Equipment Setup page when signed in on their own device.

Accountant

  • Same restrictions as Attendant (Limited Access).
  • Can view Reports and their Profile page.
  • Can only view reports for stores assigned to their profile.

Additional Settings

  • Require Clock In Before Log In: Restricts employees from accessing functions unless they are clocked in.
  • Receive Repair Ticket Emails: Notifies the employee via email when a repair ticket is submitted.
  • No Email (Attendants only): For Attendants or Limited Access Attendants, this prevents them from needing an email login.
  • Click Save when finished.
