Notifications and Order Status for Pickup & Delivery via MyLaundryOrder.com
When a customer submits a pickup/delivery request through MyLaundryOrder.com, you (the store owner) will receive a notification email at your registered address letting you know that a new order has been created.
Note: Customers do not receive an automatic email or text confirmation at this time.
Why the Order Shows as “Pending”
- For Route Orders, the order will remain in “Pending” status in WDF POS until someone on your team visits the Delivery page and manually marks it as Confirmed.
- For On-Demand Orders (e.g., Uber, DoorDash), once the third-party confirms the pickup, the order will automatically be marked as Confirmed in the system.
Notifications for Drivers and Customers
- Customers can log into MyLaundryOrder.com to view the status of their order.
- Automatic notifications to customers are not currently sent by the system after order creation or status updates.
- You can manually contact customers by clicking into the order details within WDF POS and sending a text or making a call directly from there.
Driver Access to the System
You can assign employees the Driver role in WDF POS. When drivers log into the software on their mobile phone, they will have limited access and will only see the Delivery page, making it simple to manage their route.
To access, drivers just need to visit wdfpos.com on their phone browser and sign in with their credentials.
