User Roles

When creating a new employee profile in Wash-Dry-Fold POS, you must assign one of seven distinct roles. Each role determines the level of access the user has within the software.



Admin

  • Can add/edit employees of any role.
  • Can sign in from any device using their email address and password.
  • Has full access to all areas of the software.

Manager

  • Can add/edit employees of any role except for other managers or admins.
  • Can sign in from any device using their email address and password.
  • Can access all areas of the software, but
  • Can only view reports for stores that have been listed in their profile.

Driver

  • Can sign in from any device using their email address and password.
  • Can only view:
    • Dashboard
    • Delivery
    • Personal Profile page (when signed in on their own device).
  • Can select store location on the Dashboard.
  • Can clock in and out from their own device.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages such as Reports.

Attendant

  • Can only access stores assigned to their profile.
  • Can only view their personal Profile page if logged in via email and password.
  • If no email is provided, they can only access the system using their PIN on a device signed in by an admin or manager.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages such as Reports.

Attendant (Limited Access)

  • Same as Attendant, but with the following restrictions on the Register page:
    • Refund
    • Add Cash to Drawer
    • Cash Payout
    • Void
    • Delete Item
    • Discount %
    • Adjust Quantity
    • Adjust Price
  • Cannot enable or disable a customer’s On Account status.

Technician

  • Same limitations as Attendant (Limited Access).
  • Can sign in from any device using their email and password.
  • Can only view:
    • Repairs
    • Equipment Setup
    • Personal Profile page (when signed in on their own device).
  • Can clock in and out from their own device.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages, but can access the Equipment Setup page when signed in on their own device.

Accountant

  • Same limitations as Attendant (Limited Access).
  • Can sign in from any device using their email and password.
  • Can only view:
    • Reports
    • Personal Profile page (when signed in on their own device).
  • Can clock in and out from their own device.
  • Can only view reports for stores assigned to their profile.
  • Cannot access password-protected pages, but can access the Reports page when signed in on their own device.
